The Bose speaker TV is a little bit larger than other Bose speaker mini Bluetooth options on the market today. It’s a heavy speaker that is designed to be a Bose speaker TV and not to be transported around like a Bose speaker mini options. With that being said, it should be no surprised that the Bose Bass Module 700 speaker is a heavy set speaker just like the previous Bose Bass Module 500 speaker.

Bose in home speakers has seriously nailed it in the department of design. They create Bose for home theater, headphones, and Bose in home speakers with a simple, yet elegant design. They’re stylish enough to grab your attention, but not obtrusive and can easily blend into your existing decor.
The design of the Bose Bass Module 700 speaker is definitely something that we can appreciate. It features a nice finish that looks modern and refined and compliments the majority of people’s exisiting decor quite nicely. There is even a high-end glass top finish on the top of the speaker which definitely elevates the speaker compared to other comparable models on the market today. It makes it a bit more attractive and turns the speaker from a Bose speaker TV to an attractive piece of decor in seconds.
Bose is written in the front which looks sleek and is such a well-known company, adds a bit of prestige to the design as well. Although the speakers are rather heavy, the design is really compact so that it fits in with your existing space seamlessly. The power plugs are all positioned at the rear of the speaker so you don’t have to worry about any eyesore cords in your line of vision. Another great design aspect is the fact that the speaker is able to easily connect to the bar using the Bose music application which makes connecting to other devices very seamless and once again avoid any ugly cords in your line of vision.

The Bose Bass Module 700 speaker is designed to overall enhance the performance of your existing sound bars with it being compatible with most options on the market today. It also plays a good role in bringing your subwoofer to life by enhancing the bass and balance on the overall sound spectrum as well. We noticed a lot more vibration from the sound when playing audio.
As mentioned multiple times throughout this post, the connection capabilities of the Bose Bass Module 700 speaker is seamless and extremely stress-free. Everything is extremely easy to connect regardless if you’re using wired, Bluetooth and WIFI connections, regardless of what you choose, you will find the same stress-free connection process.
Since the Bose Bass Module 700 box is really quite effective when it comes to sound, you can simply use this Bose speaker TV without the need for a sound bar, which is very appealing to a lot of people that don’t want anything extra and avoid extra expenses or clutter. That being said, when paired with the sound bar, the experience is extremely impressive that we understand why a lot of people end up opting for a sound bar as well.
The Bose Bass Module 700 speaker ends up amplifying the sound that comes from your sound bar which overall produces a much better audio quality in the space. That being said, it’s important that you don’t place any piece of furniture or anything around the speaker as it will alter the sound quality. We noticed that it’s common for people to place the speaker box close to a corner to help the sound bounce off and spread throughout the room. That being said, other people have moved it away from the walls so that the bass intensity is reduce so it just depends on your preferences and what you’re looking for in terms of sound quality.
Overall though, the sound is able to invade the whole house and fill the room where you’ve installed it and provide the just a very enjoyable listening experience.
In terms of sound quality and Bose Bass Speaker 500, the sound is pretty top-notch and you should expect a pretty beautiful sound experience. So as you would expect, when it comes to the Bose Bass Module 700 speaker it is that and better. Bose has years of experience designing Bose for the home theater where you know you want the sound to be nice and crisp and sharp, and they’ve transferred that technology to their Bose in home speakers.
Depending on the location of the Bose Bass Speaker, the sound may sound a little different. We recommend it facing out and not necessarily towards furniture or the wall as we mentioned up above. When you have the speaker near the corner the sound will sound different than if it’s in the center of the room.
The speaker by itself produces pretty good sound but when you combine it with the sound bar, the quality of the sound goes above and beyond. If you’re a lover of bass and sound vibrations, we definitely recommend that you have a soundbar to your speaker setup.
Once you’ve switched the subwoofer on and have the connection to the sound bar set up, your sound environment will definitely be elevated and truly blow you away. The dynamic bass range that is offered by the subwoofer is rich and perfect for movies, games, and of course, playing music as well. The voices are very clear and we even found that even whispering scenes you can easily pick up what the characters are saying in the movie. Once the volume is set a little bit above the average, the sound is almost explosive with the quality.
Overall the balance is pretty great and provides a very rich sound. The subwoofer does a great job at keeping the vibrations without irritating the treble and the mids of the sound, but when you relocate the box around the room, you’ll notice a different sound.
Overall, the simplicity of the box is great and a modern take on a classic home cinema system, especially the options that are on the market today. Providing the traditional surround sound speaker with a much smaller footprint.

When it comes to the design and the shape of the soundbox, both the Bose Bass Speaker 500 and the Bose Bass Speaker 700 are pretty much identical when it comes to the shape. However, the Bose Bass Speaker 500 doesn’t feature the top-quality glass top above it which is definitely one of the distinctive features that we really like with the Bose Bass Speaker 700.
In terms of the capability with other products and speakers, the Bose Bass Speaker 700 is compatible with 6 other products whereas the Bose Bass Speaker 500 is only compatible with four other products: the Bose TV Speaker, The Soundbar 500, the Sounbar 700, and the Soundtouch 300.
