Review in More Detail

We tried out the JBL Partybox in different settings and situations to truly test out if it holds up to the headphone test. Here are our findings below…

Sound Quality

The PartyBox was designed to deliver exceptional sound quality and power and that’s exactly what it does. With the powerful speakers, this speaker features 2 woofers and 3 tweeters that will fill your room with high-quality audio. The well-balanced frequency has a response of 45 Hz to 20kHz.

We noticed that the environment doesn’t influence the sound quality of this speaker. Obviously, if you’re inside or outside you may notice some changes in the audio but the sound still remains crystal clear, immersive, and well balanced regardless of where the speaker is located.

We didn’t notice any distortion and the bass and treble are both really well balanced with good distribution. This overall balance means that this speaker works great for all types of music genres and audio files.

Autonomy

The PartyBox is equipped with a rechargeable battery which allows you to bring this speaker practically anywhere. When fully charged, this speaker lasts about a good 18 hours at normal power. Even if you’re blasting this speaker at full volume, you will still get at least 10 hours of battery life which is great for a party, day at the beach or listening to your favorite song.

To fully charge, the JBL PartyBox 300 needs about 5 hours to fully charge. This is great for simply charging it overnight at the same time you charge your phone. When you wake up, your speaker will be completely charged and ready for 10+ hours of uninterrupted fantastic audio.

If you’re listening to music on your speaker near your car, you can plug your speaker into the 12 V DC outlet to save battery power as well. If you’re not near any power source you definitely have plenty of battery power to get you through the day of listening to music.

The Design

When it comes to the JBL PartyBox 300 specs, the design has been done with more focus on evening listening. It’s a large, quite bulky design. With its internal battery and the handle located on the back, the speaker is however meant to be portable and travel with you regardless of the size of it.

The JBL PartyBox 300 features different lighting modes that are perfect for setting the mood depending on where you’re listening. At a party? No problem. Trying to set a calming mood at a dinner party? Also not a problem. You have the freedom to customize speakers according to your mood and environment.

Features

When looking at the JBL PartyBox 300 specs the features and controls and a full JBL PartyBox 300 review, are some of the most important things to consider. Since there’s a lot of speakers on the market today, knowing what the JBL PartyBox is capable of will truly help to determine if it’s the right speaker for you and your needs.

The JBL PartyBox 300 is actually quite simple when it comes to features and controls. It seems like JBL focused a lot more on the quality of the sound rather than the features. The loudspeaker amplifier has a power of 240 watts which is distributed through two speakers.

There’s a USB drive that allows you to connect just about any USB compatible device but it’s also possible to connect a microphone, guitar, or headset with the additional plugs. So whether you’re wanting to do a karaoke night, rock session, or simply listen to your favorite songs, this speaker can handle just about anything and everything.

The JBL PartyBox speaker is a Bluetooth Speaker that can also be connected to just about any Bluetooth device as well. This means that you have an abundance of versatility when it comes to this JBL PartyBox 300 and can be connected to your phone, iPad, or anything other Bluetooth devices.

Comparing to Other JBL Speakers

The JBL Link 20 is another JBL speaker that is taking the market by storm so it makes sense to compare the two to see if either one is the right one for you. There are some similarities and some differences between the two which we will discuss in-depth below.

Firstly, the two speakers have quite different shapes. The PartyBox 300 has a rectangular shape while the JBL Link 20 has more of a cylindrical shape and some more attractive features and finishes. The JBL Link 20 doesn’t feature the lighting features which is a key distinguishing feature of the PartyBox 300.

The weight and size of the speakers is another major difference between the two speakers. The JBL Link 20 is a much more practical and transport friendly option with being water-resistant and lightweight compared to the JBL PartyBox.

When it comes to the Link 20 and the JBL PartyBox 300 specs, the JBL Link 20 is comparable with both WIFI and Bluetooth while the PartBox is only compatible with Bluetooth. The Link 20 battery life is a little bit longer than the PartyBox, but they’re both pretty great still.

When it comes to sound though the PartyBox is unlike anything else. It is much more punchy and louder, but also more well-balanced than the Link 20. That being said, the Link 20 does have pretty decent sound quality too so if you’re looking for something that’s a lot easier to move around the Link 20 may be more up your alley. However, if you’re looking for something that is practically one of the best sound quality portable speakers on the market today, then the JBL PartyBox is more in line with your needs.

Overall Thoughts

If you’re looking for high-quality sound from a Bluetooth speaker, the JBL PartyBox 300 is definitely something you should look into. With high-quality sound performance and personalized lighting, you can truly wow your guests or have an elevated music listening experience.

JBL is known for its high-quality products and this PartyBox is no different. The JBL PartyBox 300 specs are pretty great and definitely very versatile. With all these things considered, we’d confidently give this Bluetooth Speaker a 9 out of 10 ratings.

We hope you found this JBL PartyBox 300 review helpful and useful with the discussion of the JBL PartyBox 300 specs, features, sound quality, and tests in different environments.
